Anna Kathryn + Joel — North End Engagement

Hey everyone! Wedding season is ramping up over here at Krista Photography, and now that I’m DONE with our better-late-then-never posts, I have a little more room to show you some of my work! This is Anna Kathryn (AK, as we call her) and Joel. Anna Kathryn does fabulous hair and Joel is a musician, they are both friends of Krista’s, and duh, they are insanely adorable. I shot their wedding in September 2011, oh my gosh, has it been TWO years, it feels like yesterday. Crazy! Anyways, about a month beforehand we got together on an otherwise dreary afternoon in downtown Boston. We started out near Berkelee College of Music where Joel went to school and romped around from there… Feast your eyes on these cuties!

We found a little street fair over in the North End, there was just the right amount of people there!

I loved the look of this little street, so we hung out for a second and then someone shot off firecrackers! It was awesome.

Casey + Paul — The Villa Wedding

THIS IS IT guys! I am finally done blogging our past couples, and better-late-then-never is coming to a close! Thank you so much for checking in here every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to check out all this adorableness. And be sure to stay tuned for some of my very own couples coming up on Friday!

Ok, now wil you LOOK at those two! These cuties were married on a gorgeous day at The Villa in East Bridgewater, MA. The bride got ready at her father’s house where Krista and I met up with her.

Her dad is so adorable, waving to everyone as they left in the limo…

Our good friend Allana Taranto hung out with the dudes. Love this of Paul and his old school portraits!

We ran out for a few more portraits with some off-camera flash, it was all Allana’s idea. Love these!

Then it was time to party! This dance party was absolutely crazy. CRAZY.

Pretty sure Paul was singing Meat Loaf at this point…

This is mine, Paul’s brother was a dancing machine.

These people have the sweetest parents!

Oh my gosh, my FAVORITE, after the last dance Casey and Paul went around hugging everyone who had circled around them. It was a cry fest!

Guys! You are so awesome! Thank you for being so wonderful to work with before, on, and after your wedding! It was an absolute pleasure!

Casey + Paul — Newport Engagement Session

Horray!! It’s my very last better-late-then-never couple! I can’t believe it, just ONE MORE POST after this. What am I going to do when I don’t have to blog anymore?! Oh, that’s right blog all of our amazing NEW couples coming up next month, YES! But patience, good things come to those who wait.

Ok, here we go, meet Paul and Casey, some of the cutest people ever! These two romped all around Newport, RI with Krista one lovely evening. They caught some gorgeous light, found some really cute spaces, and had a fantastic time! I also must commend Casey’s color choice, I LOVE a guy in neutral and a girl in a gorgeous pop of color. They look great!

Rhetta + Bill — Adorable Arnold Arboretum Family Portraits

Krista shot Rhetta and Bill’s wedding back in 2004 when she was working in Chicago for Real Life Weddings. They then moved to Boston, and then Krista moved to Boston… you see where this is going, right? :) They reconnected for several shoots as their family began to grow (here and here) and then Rhetta and Bill moved to Houston where they currently reside. Krista has no plans to move to Houston, so now she photographs the family when they come to Boston for vacation.

THIS is what Krista Photography is all about. Getting to know a couple through the wedding process, being there to capture their growing family over the years. Hannah and Sophie have even invited Krista to come visit them in Texas, so they are basically BFFs now. :)

It certainly doesn’t hurt when the family is aDORable. And so clearly full of love for one another.

And FUN! So much fun!

Love this — Krista tells the family, “Show me your angry face.” Then it’s, “Show me your silly face!” And then it’s the money shot.

I don’t know, these girls just don’t seem to have any personality whatsoever. :)

I can’t stop smiling as I look through this session — so much goofy family fun! :)

I’m pretty sure Hannah saw a bug…

K+L — Fabulous State Room Wedding Details

Oh man oh man have I been looking forward to this post!! Our fabulous couple was married at the State Room in downtown Boston. We had a gorgeous Fall day in Boston with these two and their lovely families, and wanted to share the absolutely stunning details with you. Just a warning, you are going to be BLINDED by diamonds in a couple seconds…

Um. YEA.

Krista had a lot of fun with these gorgeous Manolo’s!

The wonderful Lara Woolfson helped us out that day as well, she started with the boys at the Ames Hotel. We LOVE that place!

We had some gorgeous light in the Public Gardens in the afternoon!

The dresses were all matching silhouettes, with some beautifully simple white flowers.

Can’t get enough of those earrings!

I mean this place was dripping in flowers!

OK, now onto the tables, which all varied in size, shape, and decoration. It was the most interesting and beautiful room!
