I knew just by talking to Megan on the phone that I was going to love her! She and Mike live out in San Francisco and were planning their wedding here in Concord, where Megan grew up. I met Megan and her Mom once, but didn’t meet Mike until the Rehearsal Dinner. They are such a fun and sweet couple, and their family and friends are just wonderful. I had so much fun spending the day with them, I can’t even tell you!
The day began at Megan’s parents’ house…
Megan & her bridesmaids have been friends since pre-school, and their families are extremely close. I just fell in love with them and the friendships they’ve formed over the years! They had a little dance-party in Megan’s room while they got ready :)

Megan made necklaces for each of her bridesmaids. I think they’re beautiful!
it’s not as easy as you think…
Such gorgeous green eyes!
Instead of renting a limo for the day, they hired these antique cars. It’s a 1928 Ford Model A – so cool!
Waiting to walk down the aisle…
Think they’re excited? I love this shot that my second shooter, Rachel Hadiashar, captured.
A quick portrait of the newlyweds in front of Holy Family Church
The reception was held at the Concord Country Club, so we took some portraits out on the golf course. I love this shot of the bridal party – you can totally see what a fun group of people they are. And don’t you just love the bridesmaids’ dresses?!
Then we had a few minutes alone with Megan & Mike…
This is my favorite!
My favorite part of the day was the reception! I always love a good dance party, and these people did not disappoint!!
Megan & Mike, thank you SO much for trusting me to document your wedding! It was absolutely a pleasure to spend the day with all of you! I hope you love the photos :)

I’m a documentary photographer – I like to capture life as it unfolds. From a kiss between a bride & groom on their wedding day, to a mother holding her newborn baby. From baptisms in Boston, to churches in Zimbabwe ministering to AIDS orphans. It’s my passion to capture moments between people, and to document the work of God throughout the world.
