On this the last day of Women’s History Month – we want to celebrate the women of the FUTURE as well as the past!
Women’s History Month – Celebrating Women, part 3
I’m kinda wishing I’d started this series sooner and posted more frequently in the beginning because now I’ve got like a HUNDRED women I’d like to celebrate, and only a day and a half left in Women’s History Month!! I suppose I can save a few for next year … or maybe this should be a continuing series? What say you, internet?!
Meanwhile, here’s another round of our Celebrating Women instagram series! Leave us a note and tell us who some of the women YOU celebrate are!
Women’s History Month – Celebrating Women, part 2
Women’s History Month – A Celebration of Women We Love and Admire
A few weeks ago on International Women’s Day, you may know there were a lot of protests which took the form of a Day Without A Woman. I was totally still working – but I wanted to share a little something about why, so I shared this photo of my parents. And it kicked off a whole series of instagrams celebrating Women’s History Month by honoring some of the women we at Krista Photography love and admire. The month’s not quite over yet, so I’m still posting over at @kristaphoto – but I thought it’d be fun to post a few collections of the images here on the blog as well! Check out the first week of the series…. the comment for each photo is beneath it.
Ingrid + Martin — San Francisco City Hall Wedding
Ingrid & Martin are planning a big party and a super fun wedding out here in Massachusetts this summer, but they had their civil ceremony a few weeks ago at San Francisco’s City Hall. Everything worked out perfectly so that Martin moved from France to the US on a Friday, and I was able to get there by Wednesday to capture their official marriage! Honestly, for a civil ceremony at city hall, it couldn’t have been any more lovely! Not only is this one of the most beautiful City Halls you could possibly imagine, but after being apart for so long, Ingrid & Martin were absolutely GIDDY about marrying each other! They might actually be the happiest couple I’ve ever photographed – you’re going to love them…
