Here’s just a quick little look into Kate and Reid’s Day After portrait session! This was mostly manned by Allana Taranto as Krista hurt her leg just as the Bride and Groom took off on their bikes :( Alas, they still look pretty cute…
They followed the tradition of my wedding and tied PBR cans to their vehicles of choice…
Reid kept getting his tangled.
The parents tried to help…

On our third day at the Hacienda Tres Rios, we got together with the happy couple to shoot some more casual portraits, roll around in the sand a little bit and maybe get into a *little* trouble… you’ll just have to see…

We had to get them into one of these lounge beds again, they were so cool! And I let Averie borrow my hat, she totally rocked it.
Gotta get some blue steel in there.
The resort had such an amazing range of spots to take pictures!
And so many ways to photograph the same thing!

Once Albert got home from work, we headed outside to take advantage of the remaining sunlight while the rain let up. We had to go back to the graffiti wall…

Now, you may remember from their eSession photos, that Albert can jump. Like, he can jump really high. So, we had to recreate the magic…
He even busted out some new moves!
Then we headed back down…
…and found a little patch of sunlight breaking through the clouds…
…which happened to be right next to this really cool alley.

Then we went back to the house to capture Jessica & Albert in their natural environment… eh hem…
Nerf Guns are apparently the best wedding gift, ever :)

Jessica & Albert – I love you guys! It’s been soooo fun hanging out with you, photographing you, and getting to know you both over the last year! I can’t wait to put together an awesome and FUN wedding album for you in the coming weeks :)

The weather wasn’t really cooperating with us, so we had to get a little creative… We decided to photograph Jessica preparing dinner for Albert – wifely duties and all ;) But first, we had to go to the grocery store to pick up a few necessitites….
I mean, how awesome is this?! A bride walking around a grocery store in her wedding dress?! It was so fun!
we were getting all sorts of crazy looks from people…
Eventually the manager kicked me out for taking photos. Um, I’m fairly certain that I have a right to take pictures in a grocery store, but whatever! We had the items we needed, so we headed back to the house to cook…

And while we waited for Albert to come home, life went on as usual…

This couple got married the day before and their photographer helped plan this little excursion. They were totally sweet and such troopers – the bride’s feet were practically bleeding from her shoes and she still tromped around in them all afternoon!
After shooting with them for a while, I noticed the other couple we were working with, and I got majorly distracted. These two were awesome! They were very comfortable in front of the camera, totally hot, and between the blue shoes and all the tattoos – they were incredible to photograph!

I think this one is my favorite shot of the day.
It was a great shoot! I definitely have to do more of these Trash The Dress sessions – they are so fun. TTD sessions are not so much about “trashing” the dress as not worrying about the dress. It’s so nice to have the couple completely relaxed and have plenty of time to shoot without worrying about rushing off to the reception.
