Once or twice a year, I offer Portrait Mini Sessions for those families who want updated portraits, but perhaps don’t have the time or the budget for a full session. I keep them limited to clients and friends I’ve worked with before, who have a good understanding of my style. It makes these quick 15 minute sessions go so much smoother when we already have a relationship! This year, we wanted some pretty Spring colors, so we ended up shooting in the old cemetery at Lake Quannapowitt, in Wakefield MA. It was BEAUTIFUL!
Ashley & Scott Anniversary Portraits – Lewiston, Maine
This blog you are visiting was designed by my very creative friend, Ashley! She worked so hard on this project and, in my opinion, did a fabulous job! A few weeks ago, I got to return the favor and take some photographs of her and her husband Scott. Like too many people I know, Ashley & Scott didn’t have a professional photographer shoot their wedding, and they have no photos from the day to remember it all. That just kills me :( But it made me doubly excited to take some great photos of them to share with their grand kids one day!!
Fields of tall grass make me happy :)
And I love me some broken down factories…
We had to get some pics with their baby, Molly!
These two can make each other laugh like no one else!
Ashley & Scott – you rock :) I’m so glad I got to come up and see your new home in Maine, meet Molly, and spend some time with you both! Thank you again, Ashley for making this blog so fun and lovely!

Laura & Bearden – An Anniversary Shoot in Central Park
I love the view of the buildings behind the field!!
It was right about this point when one of Bearden’s students came along and saw us. Bearden spent the rest of the afternoon looking over his shoulder to see if there were students around. I think he was a little embarrassed to be seen out on a photo shoot ;)
How much do you love Laura’s Orla Kiely bag?!
This is my absolute favorite!!!!
I love this one too!!!
This was my favorite part of the park, for sure. The ceiling in this place was amazing!
Love it!
Bearden has such a great laugh! (If only you could hear it through the photo…)
Another Favorite :)
One last view of the park before we left
Laura & Bearden – It was great to meet you guys! Thanks again for being such gracious hosts, and for a fun couple of days!
Joe & Amanada’s Anniversary Portraits
We met up at Christopher Columbus Park…
I love this one! It’s so sweet :)
Then we took a little stroll in the North End. They have the best alleys in the North End!!
The cobblestones of North Square
And finally we finished off the shoot over at Faneuil Hall. I’m thinking one of these days, I’ll have to do a photo shoot where we just walk to the whole Freedom Trail. I mean, we hit a lot of it this day, but that’d be kinda cool… Any takers?
Joe & Amanda, it was so great to meet you both! I’m glad I could help you with the surprise – and Amanda, I hope you had a great time and felt really special! Congratulations on five wonderful years together!!!
