Seeing as how Krista is very good friends with this lovely bride, I’m just going to quote her for a second…
“It’s an awesome thing to get to photograph your friends :) I’ve known Suze for almost 6 years now, exactly as long as I’ve lived in Massachusetts. She was one of my first friends here. We’ve been in bible studies together, sang together on the worship team at church, prayed together, talked a lot about relationships and love, and she’s even assisted me at a couple of weddings! It’s been so cool to watch over the last year since she started dating Jeremy – to see them challenge & encourage one another, and now to celebrate with them as they begin the rest of their life together. And I was doubly blessed to get to photograph their wedding day!”
That was obviously written right after their wedding because now (almost) a year later Suze and Jeremy are expecting their first child and we could not be more excited for them!
Now for wedding day, Krista and I started out with Suze as she got ready in her suite at the Steele Hill Resort. The bride and groom were desperately hoping for a beautiful snowy New England day. The scenery was GORGEOUS, but not snowy… So like their engagement session we just had to make the most of it, and boy did we!! We ended up with about two hours to run around town and take pictures of these cuties before the ceremony, which was super fun! The results of which you’ll see in a minute :)
Here’s Suze coiffing on wedding day.
Allana started with Jeremy as he got dressed up in his swank suit.
After all the makeup and hair Suze sat with her family and pastor (Krista’s brother-in-law) to pray before the ceremony.
Here’s mine of the dress dance :)
Loved her classic accessories.
Jeremy looked very dapper in Allana’s shot.
Also from Allana.
Here’s mine from far away.
Then off for more portraits! Love Jeremy’s reflection.
First up, this beautiful tree with a great view of lake Winnisquam, where the kind people at The Lake House at Ferry Point let us use their outlook, and their backyard :)
Here’s Allana’s view.
HAHA.
Don’t you LOVE that shawl??
Allana made them go over here and grabbed this, nice job lady :)
Then we ran around in the backyard by this pretty fence, another from Allana
Then we borrowed someone else’s driveway for a minute…
Here’s my view.
Then down the street to this perfect New England church.
goofballs!
And across the street for some of my favorites. LOVE this from Allana.
WHEW! That was fun. Ok now onto the ceremony, I can’t believe there’s more wedding!
Yes, that is Krista’s nephew, to the right of Suze’s dad, dabbing fake tears off his face with a tissue… so funny!
I found this cutie not paying much attention to the wedding… :)
Well, at least they got SOME snow…
I grabbed this of Suze parents during their family formals… so dang cute!
Just a couple more now that they are actually married :)
These white chocolate snowflakes were KILLER.
Wait for it, wait for it…
THERE it is. Love you guys…
YES! Time to dance! There were so manny cute kiddos there… This is Allana’s
This is Allana’s of Suze and her dad. I’m such a daddy’s girl, I ALWAYS cry when the bride dances with her dad…
So Allana, the genius that she is, set up a little portrait sesh on the front porch as the sun was setting, here’s Allana’s shot of Anna Kathryn and Joel, our test subjects :)
And now the real thing.
