Bethany and Jon were married in Falmouth, MA, Bethany’s home town, in the church across the street from her childhood home. We were told that she used to watch brides leaving the church from her living room window, doesn’t that paint such a wonderful picture? Well no matter what expectations had been swimming in Bethany’s head about her very own wedding day in that church, I certainly think they were met. The weather held out just perfectly, Bethany was glowing and nervous but cool under pressure, and the setting could not have been more idyllic. It really was a wonderful day.
We learned not long after the wedding however that Jon’s brother and Best Man, Michael, had passed away suddenly. We obviously didn’t know him very well, but it was not hard to tell that he was greatly loved by his family. He gave literally the BEST toast Krista had ever heard, at their rehearsal dinner, which was proven by her crying with laughter through the whole thing… We are so glad that Jon and Bethany were able to celebrate their wedding with him and will have those recent memories forever. And we are thankful to have been able to share a little something with them to help ease the pain. These are the moments when you realize how important photographs can be. Knowing that we can actually help people hold onto the memories of the ones they love is the most rewarding part of our job.
So without further ado, let’s see the blushing bride, Krista started out at Bellezza Salon with the ladies.
This DRESS! Could it be more classic?
Shoes: killer.
I grabbed this in the dramatic light of the bathroom.
We were so happy to work with Cris Llerena for the first time, she was fantastic and started with Jon and his guys across the street.

I grabbed this from the balcony as Bethany came down the aisle, Jon could not stop fiddling with his cuffs, it was really cute.
Cris killed it with a little tilt-shift action.
A sweet receiving line moment from Cris.

No big deal guys, just a game face family portrait. Hahaha!
