Sarah + Mike — Lyman Estate Wedding Details – xo, CoCo

Take a look at Sarah and Mike’s beautifully intimate and personal details! So much of their personality shined through during their wedding day at the Lyman Estate, right down to the programs, how cute are those?! I loved every moment of their wedding, I hope you enjoy a few more of my favorite moments and details! Let’s start with the most important part, the shoes.

I can’t speak to how comfortable these were… pain is beauty, and aren’t they such a great color?!

Sarah’s beautiful one-shoulder dress is from The Bridal Garden in Manhattan, a not-for-profit bridal boutique that donates their proceeds to help educate disadvantaged children, now that’s a business model we can get behind!

The rooms at the Lyman have some fab wall paper and woodwork, I could shoot there every day! Allana, my second shooter for the day, grabbed this as mike got ready.

The greenhouse was in full bloom, this space was a dream to shoot in.

Sarah made her own jewelry and flowers, isn’t she crafty?!

I brought along a little Canonet QL17 35mm film camera for the day and took some snap shots on Fuji Pro 400H film.

The food from Chive was not only gorgeous, I love their serving platters and utensils, it was SO DELICIOUS.

Don’t worry, the Lord and Lady will watch over your cake.

Marc Anthony from Murray Hill talent gets the award for most energetic DJ ever, he was AWESOME!

And check out this adorable outdoor dance floor that the ladies at Chive set up, it was so fun to party under the stars on a warm Summer evening.

Sarah + Mike — Lyman Estate Wedding – xo, CoCo

You may remember Sarah and Mike from one of my favorite engagement sessions EVER. I think the thing I love most about these two is not only are they adorable, fun, perfectly nerdy, and just the right amount of silly, they completely trusted me. They have the type of cool confidence in themselves and in me that makes my job so easy. Also, their wedding was Ah-Mazing! Intimate, beautiful, personal, and FUN… ALL of my favorite things. Alright, enough gushing, let’s start with Sarah in her room at the stately and stunning Lyman Estate, one of my favorite places to shoot, and wait til you see the outdoor dance floor!

Sarah’s girls were cracking me up.

I shot a few snap shots with my Canonet QL17 35mm film camera, using Fuji 400H film throughout the day. Its such a fun little camera, and film brings a whole other quality to their pictures, can you tell the difference?

Sometimes dresses take a long time… :)

Mt good friend Allana joined me for the day, and started with Mike down the hall, what a handsome guy!

We walked through the greenhouse for a minute, I LOVED the light in there!

Allana brought along her prism to do some experimenting, I just love this picture.

We thought the library might be a nice backdrop, I must say it suits Sarah very well.

Their gardens were so lush and beautiful!

We had a little time to relax before the ceremony, when does that ever happen?! Allana hung out with the girls upstairs.

Irene + Joey — Sculler’s Jazz Club Wedding – xo, CoCo

Irene and Joey, where do I start?! These two had a lovely and intimate day with their nearest and dearest and many who came all the way from Greece to celebrate with them! It threatened rain all day, but we lucked out every minute that we wanted to be outside, such a dream! I hope you enjoy my favorites! Let’s start with Irene as she got ready at her parent’s house, so traditional, I love it.

A little rain never hurt anybody!

Vince Schaefer joined me for the day and started at the church, I love all these little details for their greek ceremony.

From the church we headed to Sculler’s Jazz Club in Allston, where we got to use the roof deck, in between rain showers at least! :) Vince grabbed this great wide shot.

Irene had her florist incorporate a tape measure into her bouquet as a way to remember her grandmother who was a seamstress, isn’t that so sweet?

Time to party! This is Vince’s shot from the happy couple’s introduction.

A team of traditional dancers entertained the crowd, they were awesome!

Sarah + Rob — deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum Wedding Details – xo, CoCo

Sarah and Rob had the most beautiful backdrop for their Summer wedding, a gorgeous day at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, MA. Hands down, one of our favorite locations ever. Take a look at their beautiful details, and a few more favorite moments from their day.

The girls dark purple dresses were lovely, and I loved the guys tennis racket ties!

NO climbing.

Sarah and her mom worked hard to try and bring the outdoors in with these beautiful tree centerpieces, birch candle holders, and succulent accents!

Who doesn’t love cookies for the ride home?!

Photographers gotta have fun too!!

Sarah’s cousin wrote them a song and performed it for their first dance, such a sweet personal touch.

A video projection played at the back of the reception space, which doubles as a gallery, Christine shot the cake against the background.

I grabbed the couple’s silhouette against the projection during their first dance.

It was a beautiful and warm Summer evening, perfect for hanging out on the patio!

Sarah + Rob — deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum Wedding – xo, CoCo

Oh, Sarah and Rob, it has been so fun looking through your pictures again, especially on this freezing cold January day! I don’t know if I have ever met two sweeter, funnier, more in love people. From the very start I knew their wedding would be 1) Beautiful, I mean LOOK at that background! 2) Heartfelt and full of their many loving family members, including Rob’s 10 siblings! And most importantly, 3) FUN, these two and their friends kept my second shooter Christine and I laughing, like serious belly laughs, ALL DAY. It really was just the best day, hopefully you can see it too!

I started out with Sarah in the library at the deCordova, as she finished getting ready, notice her smile, you’ll be seeing it A LOT.

Meanwhile my fabulous second shooter Christine Maus got Rob ready for his first look of Sarah up on the rooftop, I loved all the sculptures up there.

Then a walk through the garden for some portraits with a really cool installation in the background. Here’s my view:

Christina + Preston — Langham Hotel Boston Wedding – xo, CoCo

I mean, have you ever seen a more beautiful couple?? I didn’t think so… From the moment I stepped into Christina’s hotel room the morning of her wedding I knew it was going to be an amazing day. Not only was THE MOST beautiful dress hanging in the window, but the excitedly tense energy in the room was palpable. Not to mention Christina looked regal, ballerina-like and altogether stunning. My second shooter Paul McNerney and I started out with Christina and her girls as they got ready, here’s what we found:

Meagan + Evan — Omni Providence Wedding – xo, CoCo

You remember these two from their sunrise, that’s right, sunrise engagement shoot right? It feels like forever ago that I first met these two lovebirds so it was so good to see them finally tie the knot! This was one of the most wonderful days I have experienced in a long time. Meagan had obviously meticulosly planned every moment of the day to be special and meaningful and it really showed. From her First Look with her dad to dancing with her new husband late into the night. They added so many personal touches throughout the day to make their guests feel welcome and appreciated, it was such a good vibe, but more of that in the details post! :) For now, enjoy my favorite moments from the day!

Kate + Peter — Harvard Faculty Club Wedding Details – xo, CoCo

Feast your eyes on some of Kate and Peter’s classic details from their Springtime Harvard Faculty Club Wedding. First off, Kate’s gorgeous lace dress and timeless jewelry.

Harvard yard was perfectly quiet that morning!

I love Kate’s fur stole, such a smart yet chic choice for a Spring day!

The reception details incorporated Peter’s heritage, I love the pops of red.

Kate + Peter — Harvard Faculty Club Wedding – xo, CoCo

Man, oh man where do I even start with these two?! Kate and Peter were so much fun to photograph on their rainy yet beautiful wedding day at the Harvard Faculty Club. Kate was glowing, and the two of them were full of smiles and high-fives all day. And if you need more proof of how awesome they are check out their New York Times Vows Video, I’m telling you it’s some serious cute overload.

So I started out with Kate in my favorite room at the Faculty Club, LOVE that wallpaper!

My fabulous friend Lara started with Peter just down the hall.
