If this Endicott Estate wedding wasn’t the definition of amazing then I don’t know what is. From the insanely fun bridal party, to the STUNNING bride, to the emotions and some of the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen this day was wonderful start to finish. The best part is, not only was this day gorgeous, and the details and timeline planned out perfectly, Thrisha and Donaldo eventually forgot all about it and just had FUN. SO much fun. They danced, they cried, they were perfectly themselves, just a little more dressed up than normal ;)
Ryan + Kirk — Essex Conference Center and Retreat Wedding Details – xo, CoCo
Let’s just take a look at how beautiful this spot is. The Essex Conference Center and Retreat is a fabulous North Shore hidden gem, filled with fabulous scenery, outdoor sculptures, lily ponds, oh my! Not to mention all of the hard work Kirk and Ryan and their friends put into their amazingly colorful diy details, feast your eyes!
I can’t even handle this beautiful arbor covered in paper flowers.
They transformed the tent into a colorful oasis, filled with gummy bears, wild flowers and neon.
I brought along my Canonet QL17 35mm rangefinder and shot some snapshots on Fuji 400H color film.
And you know Vince, my second shooter, and I had to test out the light a bit… Aren’t we pretty?
Ok back to the good stuff! When we arrived, the boys were working on individual messages to each and every guest, including me and Vince., how sweet?! Also shot on Fuji 400H color 35mm film.
Details and portraits from Vince.
Our mascots for the day.
Shot on Fuji 400H color 35mm film during the most wonderful heartfelt ceremony ever.
And a wide shot, such a beautiful scene!
A couple more details shot on Fuji 400H color 35mm film.
This ketubah was handmade meticulously by one of their best friends, it was beautiful.
Not to mention their beautiful art deco rings designed by a family member!
One more on Fuji 400H film, don’t you love the “Summer Camp” feel?
Such a fabulous night!
And Vince and I got our own dance party with our favorite grooms! Hahaha!
And the boys rocked it in short shorts all night long.

Ryan + Kirk — Essex Conference Center and Retreat Wedding – xo, CoCo
Here we go folks, behold, the most adorable couple you have ever seen. Ryan, right, and Kirk, left, are two of the happiest most enjoyable people to be around I have ever known. True to form their wedding was insanely colorful, emotional, beautiful in more ways than I can count, and altogether amazing. I don’t know if I’ve ever cried so much in my life, except at my own sister’s wedding! But more on that later, let’s start out with the boys as they got ready, surrounded by their bridal party, consisting of their family members and best friends in the world.
As always, there was a bit of bow tie drama, but these guys know what they are doing.
The dogs weren’t impressed… where are the treats y’all?
I mean, those colors. Have you SEEN a better looking couple?!
We took a little tour of the grounds at the Essex Conference Center and Retreat, it was SUCH a gorgeous day, and this place is an amazing hidden gem, I LOVED shooting there.
The fabulous Vince Schaefer was my second shooter for the day, he grabbed this shot, so pretty!
Vince also set the boys up over here by the firepit, killing me.
Just can’t get over that light!
Then it was time for the best group photos ever!
Hurry up, finish your vows Ryan!
Everyone needed a little liquid courage before the ceremony.
Wait for it…
And away we go! To ABBA no less…
Commence the best wedding ceremony ever, first Kirk sang Ryan a song.
Then there were dramatic readings of their first emails to each other.
Then a sweet surprise poem.
Then the most beautiful vows ever.
And LOTS more crying.
Ryan’s brother jumping, Vince shooting, I can’t even…
Peekaboo!
The boys mingled for a while…
…then we snuck away for a few more portraits at golden hour. Can’t you just FEEL the happy?
Goofs.
I could barely hold it together during their toasts.
Then it was short shorts time. These guys know how to party.
Little brother, All-star DJ.
Ryan and Kirk, you KILLED IT, guys. I’ve never felt so lucky to witness a wedding. Thank you for finding me, for choosing me, for being so honest, so happy, SO in love and wonderful and for having the best party EVER. I love ya! Stay tuned for their crazy colorful diy details and see even more on Facebook!
Meagan + Evan — Omni Providence Wedding – xo, CoCo
You remember these two from their sunrise, that’s right, sunrise engagement shoot right? It feels like forever ago that I first met these two lovebirds so it was so good to see them finally tie the knot! This was one of the most wonderful days I have experienced in a long time. Meagan had obviously meticulosly planned every moment of the day to be special and meaningful and it really showed. From her First Look with her dad to dancing with her new husband late into the night. They added so many personal touches throughout the day to make their guests feel welcome and appreciated, it was such a good vibe, but more of that in the details post! :) For now, enjoy my favorite moments from the day!
I started out with Meagan in her suite as she got ready.
So many lip glosses so little time!
Evan sent Meagan a beautiful personalized locket, so sweet.
The girls looking at Evan’s gift, don’t start crying yet!
Just B-E-A-UTIFUL, this girl.
The wonderful Kris Rae Orlowski started out with the boys, Pop it Evan!
Love love love this boss portrait.
Meagan had an adorably teary First Look with her dad, killing me!
Work it ladies!
Meagan’s parents and god-mother, looking so proud!
I. DO.
Oh, Grandma you are too cute!
I waited back with Meagan…
While Kris waited with Evan.
Kris grabbed this of Evan who could barely get his vows out, every time he started he would start crying again! Their vows were some of the sweetest I’ve heard.
Love this overall from Kris.
Woohoo!
And the double fist pump from Dad!
A Del’s stand was waiting for everyone outside.
Now, be serious, from Kris.
Could these colors be any more fun??
Just a few minutes with the couple in the garden at Roger Williams Park.
Here’s Kris’s view…
…and mine, this girl is too cute!
Thanks for holding the reflector for this Kris!
Then a quick stop for some bridal party shenanigans.
Then it was time to party! Kris grabbed these during intros, get down!
What a day! It was such a pleasure to be a part of it. Thank you Meagan and Evan for having me and Kris along, it was just perfection! Stay tuned for their amazingly colorful details, and see more on Facebook in the meantime!
Rose + George — Boston Seaport Hotel Wedding
Rose and George were married at the Boston Seaport Hotel. It was such a lovely wedding. Rose had this amazing and unique kiwi and persimmon color scheme that was carried through almost every element of their day. Their families seemed so fun and supportive and absolutely thrilled to be witnessing their nuptials. And some Krista Photography alums Jessica and Albert were there! It’s always fun to see past couples out on the dance floor!
Krista and I started out with Rose and her ladies up in her hotel suite.
Our pal Lindsay Flanagan started out with George and his guys!
Lindsay did some great portraits with the guys before they left for the ceremony.
I grabbed this of the girls helping with Rose’s dress.
I love these flowers, the color combination is so unique and gorgeous!
Then we ran down and headed out to the ceremony!
Such a sweet moment with Rose’s grandmother! She burst into tears as soon as she saw her.
Isn’t this gorgeous?!
Then onto the Public Gardens for some portraits!
I love how those dresses pop!
I love this!
Lindsay grabbed this of the Mariachi band during cocktail hour, love it.
Then they played for the Bride and Groom!
The room was stunning, so colorful and classy. Details from Lindsay an I.
We took some favors, fans and chop sticks and played around!
My fave! I can’t get over Rose’s set of rings, stunning!
This girl was the STAR. Seriously.
I caught this little lady in the act, that’s right, she’s shufflin’.
We made a gorgeous guest book for Rose and George, I grabbed this shot of a particularly cute entry :)
Current and past Krista Photography couples! Yay!
Thank you Rose and George! It was such a pleasure working with you and documenting your love! Check out their facebook album for more, and while your at it “Like Us!” And I’ll see you Friday!
