Liz + Dylan — Boston Esplanade Engagement – xo, CoCo

Man, these two make me so happy. They are legit, some of the funniest people I know. I was so excited to get to know them some more, after weeks of hilarious email exchanges. So we met up one gorgeous evening on The Esplanade, took some pictures, hung out in a tree, and saw the biggest yoga class ever. It was glorious!

Marlana + Matt — Arnold Arboretum Engagement – xo, CoCo

Oh my gosh, I’m so excited for this post! Marlana and Matt are just the best. I met Marlana back in the day at RIT, I knew her brother through my best friend, who is now my brother-in-law, I’m sure we met at a terrible party… :) They’re getting married in upstate NY later this year, but wanted to shoot some engagement pictures in Boston, where they call home. So I was so incredibly excited when she reached out to me, and so pumped to meet her fiance Matt (they’ve been together for 10 years!).

We started out at their apartment in Jamaica Plain, and amazingly got their adorable kitty Audrey to stay still for approximately 2.5 seconds.

It was a B-E-A-Utiful night in JP!

I mean…

The light on the pathway was gorgeous!

Quick costume change at home…

Then off to the Arnold Arboretum!

Katie + Brian — Boston Long Wharf Engagement – xo, CoCo

Katie, Brian and I got together on one of those beautiful misty mornings in Boston, while most of the city was still asleep, and we had the Long Wharf to ourselves, aside from the P-town ferry crowd. :) The area holds a special significance for these two, since that’s where Brian popped the question! (They even showed me the exact spot). So it was super fun to walk around with them through one of their favorites spots in the city. What a fabulous morning!

Elena + Olivier — University of Pennsylvania Engagement – xo, CoCo

Olivier and his beautiful Elena and I met up on the campus of UPenn, where they met, on a beautiful Summer afternoon. They were wearing some fabulously crazy colors, the sun was shining (right when we needed it to!) and the campus was quiet, well except for the occasional scavenger hunters, but more on that later! I had a great time getting to know them and getting a personal tour of UPenn’s gorgeous campus! We started out hiding on these stairs, how great are those colors?!

Ryan + Kirk — Newburyport Engagement – xo, CoCo

These two!! I think all I have to do is let the pictures speak for themselves on this one. Ryan and Kirk are such a joy to be around, they love each other, their dogs, cocktails, food, and laughing. Need I say more?!

We started their engagement at their adorable condo in Newburyport, where Ryan fixed us up some killer cocktails.

Meet Dragon and Bruno, the funniest furballs you’ve ever seen.

Their home is FILLED with amazing art, mostly made by Ryan’s grandmother, I can’t wait to meet her!

Sarah + Rob — Minuteman National Park Engagement – xo, CoCo

Sarah, Rob and I got together on a gorgeous evening at one of my favorite parks, Minuteman National Park, in Concord. The light was beautiful and these two can not get any cuter. They met while working at the same school and I caught up with them in the middle of their well-deserved Summer break, I was super jealous of Sarah’s summer glow! I hope you enjoy my favorites!

Laura + Dayna — Beacon Hill Engagement – xo, CoCo

Laura and Dayna and I met up on a wonderful and warm afternoon in the early Summer, I knew these two would be amazing from the start. First of all they have the best story, as told to me by Laura, they used to pass each other on the sidewalk nearly everyday on the way to work, always noticing each other but never speaking of course, though for dramatic effect I imagine at least making some sideways glances :). Some time down the line they both ended up at the Liberty Hotel one evening for drinks, separately, but Laura finally got up the nerve to introduce herself and the rest is history! Naturally, we started out their session at the very place where their relationship started, not to mention one of my favorites hotels in Boston, then strolled past their apartment and through their beautiful Beacon Hill neighborhood. I hope you enjoy my favorites!

The light was beautiful inside Alibi and the place was empty!

In my opinion, every engagement session should start with cocktails!

Kaitlin + Brent — North End Engagement – xo, CoCo

Ok, get ready for an adorable overload. I met up with Kaitlin and Brent at during one of Kaitlin’s very last weeks in Boston, and therefore very last weeks in her adorable North End apartment. We clicked immediately, had a quick drink together and basically did not stop laughing for the next hour. These guys are just so much fun! But don’t let me tell you, I’ll let you find out for yourself…

Of course we HAD to check out the roof deck!

We went on a little tour of their neighborhood and found this little secret garden in someone’s backyard, shhhh don’t tell…

Brent, you are the perfect amount of goofball.

There were some lovely blooming trees in a park next door.

We then made our way down this fabulous alley…

…on the way to their favorite spot in the North End, Monica’s!

They then treated me to one of the BEST sandwiches I have ever had, how sweet are they? Seriously, if you haven’t been to Monica’s, don’t, I don’t want anyone to know about it… :) Thank you Kaitlin and Brent for being so fun, generous, loving and oh I don’t know AMAZING?! I can’t wait for September!

Irene + Joey — Sudbury Engagement – xo, CoCo

I got together with Irene and Joey on a recent and fabulous Spring day, warmth was just beginning to break through in Boston, and the light was amazing at the Grist Mill at Longfellow’s Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA. Joey and Irene brought along their adorable puppy, yes that’s right he’s a puppy, Grimm who just added to the cuteness factor. It was so fun to witness how cute they are together, I can’t wait for their wedding in July!

A definite favorite.

Katie + Keith — Providence, RI Winter Engagement – xo, CoCo

Katie an Keith came to us through a very dear friend but we quickly discovered that we had another connection, they both went to my alma mater, RIT! It was great to reminisce a bit about our favorite Brick City while we walked around downtown Providence for their engagement session. It was freezing outside so we found some fabulous indoor spaces to shoot at The Arcade and the gorgeous interior of The Dorrance around the corner. Take a look at a few of my favorites!
