Laura & Dayna — Willowdale Estate Wedding Details – xo, CoCo
Alright, let’s get to the gorgeous details from Laura and Dayna’s early spring wedding at the wonderful Willowdale Estate! Even when it’s not quite green, this place is still amazing, one of my favorite venues.
Laura & Dayna — Willowdale Estate Wedding – xo, CoCo
Laura and Dayna (best name for a groom ever!) were married on a beautiful brisk day in late spring, they braved the slight chill in the air for as long as they could and it was SO worth it for the chance to walk around outside and to witness their ceremony on the gorgeous patio of the Willowdale Estate. Laura was perfectly nervous, everyone was excited, the weather held off and just wait til you see Dayna’s face when he saw his bride for the first time…
Nora & Kevin — Artists for Humanity Epicenter Wedding – xo, CoCo
GUYS! I can’t even TELL you how excited I am to share this wedding! You may remember Nora and Kevin from their snuggly, beer-induced, winter engagement session. These two are an absolute favorite around the studio, I was so excited to see them on their wedding day, and true to form they laughed, they cried, they snuggled, it was SO. FUN.
Bonnie + Steve — LaBelle Winery Wedding Details
Bonnie & Steve’s wedding was cheerfully decorated with bright blue & orange touches, and it totally added to the fun atmosphere of the entire day! Here are some of my favorite details & vendors who made it all come together…
Bonnie’s veil was so unique!

Katie + Brian — Black Rock Country Club Wedding – xo, CoCo
Get ready for a whole lot of pretty, folks. Katie & Brian were married on one of the last days of Fall, when the light was buttery and warm and you could still get away without wearing a coat. It was one of those wonderfully beautiful days where the Bride and Groom’s tireless preparations paid off, everything went to plan, and they just got to have fun and enjoy their day. I mean, it really doesn’t get any better than that. Let’s start with Katie as she got ready with her girls.
I love Katie’s soft and feminine details, they just fit her perfectly!
My lovely assistant Pam caught this, how cute are these girls?!
GIRL! You are so beautiful!
Katie gave her adorable parents some very thoughtful embroidered handkerchiefs, their reaction was so sweet!
Then it was time to head to the church!
Meanwhile, my lovely second shooter Cris Llerena, started with Brian and his boys. This little guy, can you even stand it?!
I tagged along with the girls on the way to the ceremony.
“It’s our party and we’ll cry if we want to!” I love it!
Some members of the wedding party really took that to heart… hehe.
I just love that light!!
Then it was off to Black Rock to capture the last bit of light!
And what gorgeous light it was!
Haha! Thanks Pam! :)
This is what happy looks likes folks…
We even had enough light to capture some beautiful, natural formal photos outside, love this group!
Little Meredith and Colin were keeping everyone entertained for me, thanks guys! :)
And a killer sunset to boot!
An heirloom cake topper, and room filled with tons of candles made everything feel so romantic. And I haven’t seen a Groom’s cake in so long, this one Katie arranged was awesome!
I mean… Cris thank you for grabbing this, this isn’t the last you’ll see of these cuties.
When Grandma’s attack! :)
Then it was party time y’all!
See?!
Behold the best late night snacks ever! The Fenway Frenzy!!

Ashley + Joe — Exchange Conference Center Wedding in Boston
I’ve gotta be honest with you… I think Joe & Ashley’s wedding was my absolute favorite for 2014! Maybe it was because they totally trusted me, and gave me the freedom to focus on the moments? Maybe it was because we had an hour to ride around Boston shooting wherever we wanted with just the two of them? Maybe it’s because they love black & white photography as much as I do? Or maybe it’s because they fed me pizza after the ceremony?! It’s hard to say… but just take a look, and I think you’ll understand!
I started with Ashley & the girls, and my lovely assistant Cristen, over at the Seaport Hotel
Meanwhile… CoCo was shooting with Joe & the guys over at the Exchange Conference Center
Then it was time for the First Look! Ashley just needed a little liquid courage before we left ;)
Clearly Joe was ready!
After a few minutes of smooches and laughter, we headed over to the Christian Science Plaza for some fun, relaxed portraits
Then it was time to meet up with the fam over at the Boston Public Gardens! Think they’re excited?!
This is totally one of my favorites! This is what is REALLY happening while we take portraits ;)
Then we headed back to Arlington Street Church to get ready for the ceremony!
So many giggles!
Then it was time for a little Pizza Break before we went to the reception!!
We stopped at Dirty Water Dough Company, and it was delicious!
Time for the reception! The toasts were hilarious!!
First Dance
Such sweet Parent Dances!
Then it was time to PARTY!!
Double Exposure in the Holga, on Tri-X Black & White Film! Love it!
So, do you see what I mean?! It was AWESOME!!!!
Wait until you see the details… next post, I promise! Meanwhile, you can see more in their album on Facebook!

Liz + Dylan — Reid Castle Wedding – xo, CoCo
Liz and Dylan were faves from the start. Their sense of humor, all-together cuteness, absolute adoration of each other, not to mention their hilarious families and especially Dylan’s dad’s mustache, made their wedding day one of the BEST days. Ever. No seriously. Go ahead, see for yourself.
I started with Liz as she got ready in the bridal suite at Reid Castle, on the campus of Manhattanville College. This place was so cool! So many beautiful and interesting indoor spaces, with gorgeous light inside and out!
Krista was my second shooter for the day, (Dream team!), she started with Dylan and this cute guy next door.
Oh hello there Mr. Dapper!
The lawn had our FAVORITE Weeping Beech trees, good spot for a First Look don’t you think? Love this from Krista.
Can’t even handle these two!
Krista brought along a couple film cameras to play with, she shot this with her Nikon f100 camera, on Kodak Tri-x 400 35mm film.
Also from Krista, isn’t that lace to die for?!
Light, giggles, snuggles, everything.
From Krista, I mean they didn’t stop laughing!
Krista shot this with a Holga toy camera on Kodak Tri-x 400 120mm film.
Krista grabbed this as well.
I mean we had to show the castle right?!
Time for the ceremony! Liz and her dad were so sweet!
Krista snuck around the side to grab this, can you just feel how excited she is?!
Krista also ran upstairs to grab this, so pretty!
I stayed on the ground during the festivities at the reception while Krista shot from above, so fun right?
Their brother and sister made use of basically everyone in the room for their toasts, it was so fun, emotional and personal.
Then this happened, complete with “I’ve Had the Time of my Liiiiiife!” perfectly cued up. So good.
After the festivities, we took another few moments to shoot in this gorgeous space! These two were so generous with their time, and of course SO FUN to photograph.
Krista set this up, just LOVE it.
One more from Krista, how romantic are those candles??
Haha! Phone for you!
At their request we got everyone in the room on the dance floor for a group picture from the balcony. Love these guys!
These two just had to get a dance in while everyone was still at their tables.
Then it was party time!
And as a send off they killed it up on stage.
I can’t even say enough about these two! Thank you Liz & Dylan for trusting us with your memories, for cracking us up all day, for loving your day and everything it brought. We love you guys! Check out more on Facebook y’all and just WAIT for their details post full of autumnal color and that charming diy touch.
