Back in the fall, Krista was anxiously preparing for her journey to Nepal to work on a documentary film with Code Red Films and eager to get some portraits done before her trip. She decided to hold a fundraising mini-portrait marathon one October weekend to assist in the costs associated with her (not-for-profit) trip. After scouting beautiful trees and parks for weeks we finally decided to stage the event next door! With a little help from Russell Farms (who so graciously lent us hay stacks and pumpkins for the day), and Krista’s awesome neighbors, it could not have looked better!
There are SO many sweet families, I will *try* and let the pictures do most of the talking. :)
Goofy buddies!
These two families are full of besties. So much love!
Krista has some seriously gorgeous family, doesn’t she??
I love how this little crew of friends just fits together!
This little football player (oh how his dad would DIE – in a good way! – if that were to come true someday!) is a friend of mine. :) His mama and I met almost five years ago when we were both struggling with brand new little babes!
Such joy!
This little man is Dylan. Based on his genes, it is very likely that he will be a marathon runner by the time he is out of high school! Both of his parents can RUN.
This portrait thing is a serious business!
This is Serena and Mark and their adorable daughter Rayna. Krista second shot their wedding way back in 2008! Aren’t they gorgeous?!
Happy girl! Yay!
What a silly daddy!
There were SO many great moments between these sisters to chose from, but this series of them hugging is by far my favorite!
And we can’t leave out their darling baby brother!
A family of tree-huggers. :) This particular tree was SUCH a vivid yellow.
Happy Fall!!
What a good looking set of siblings!
This lovely lady came to have her senior portraits taken – such a great idea by her mom to have them done this way!
Oh, hi. It’s my family again. :)
Love love love!!
HI!
Such a little doll!
Another adorable family!
How cute is this couple? I absolutely love Lindsay’s headband!
So in love! :)
This little guy wanted NOTHING to do with Krista’s camera! But Krista knows how to do a sneak attack and managed to grab some shots anyway!
Krista shot Faith and Ryan‘s wedding back in 2011 (and Faith and Krista go way back!).
This little lady must look familiar, no?? Does she need to be in pink tulle? :)
Fear not! She has her girly headband poof and furry boots!
We all love Miss Lane!!
Woofs, you are such a good sport! :)
Love this family!
Krista and her wonderful assistants for the day. Thank you, Shea and Tiffany, for all of your help!!
More cuteness on facebook! Come back Monday to see what CoCo’s cooked up! :) Have a happy weekend!
