Baby Cameron — Six Month Portrait Session

So Krista caught up with Baby Cameron when he was six months old at the family’s home. From there they took a walk to the park for some perfect New England Fall foliage shots. Cameron was not all that interested in smiling, but I think you’ll agree he’s so stinking cute that it doesn’t matter!

I mean the lips. The hair. Can’t take it.

I almost forgot the eyelashes!!

Apparently daddy is very funny! Basically all of the shots with Cameron smiling involve goofing around with his dad–love it!

I know I sound like a broken record, but as crazy as it sounds, Baby Cameron only continues to become cuter! I’m not kidding. Come back Friday to check out his one year shoot in Gloucester. Little dude will be in boat shoes and a fedora. THAT’S RIGHT FOLKS – not to be missed!

Baby Cameron – Newborn Portrait Session

I promised an amazing little man, and I’m confident that Baby Cameron won’t disappoint! Krista visited the family in their home soon after Cameron’s arrival. There really is something incredible about a baby who is only days old.

Baby Judah – Newborn Session

Yay! It’s time to meet Baby Judah! Krista had taken Suze’s maternity pictures just a couple of weeks before Judah was born and was very excited to return and meet this little guy when he was only a few days old!

How cute is he??

Poppin’ his collar. He’s already the coolest kid on the block! :)

So peaceful, yet so COOL with his little button down shirt and jeans!

If you don’t already know, I love me some baby toes! :)

I absolutely love family history and the sharing of things between generations. So I LOVE that this is the same bassinet that Judah’s father and grandfather slept in as babies!

Oh my… the hazards of photographing a NAKED newborn baby, especially baby BOYS! Great capture, Krista! :) I’m sure that Judah’s prom date will get a kick out of this one someday!

However, without risking a little mess a picture like this would never happen. So darn adorbs.

Judah doesn’t seem so impressed, but I am totally digging his striped hat!

Baby Bobby – Newborn Session

I’m back! And with another ridiculously adorable baby to share (this little guy has the MOST incredible head of hair I’ve ever seen on such a little guy)! Baby Bobby’s mama is one of Krista’s dear friends. Krista was thrilled when Suzanne and Michiel announced that they were expecting a baby last year. It was a long hard pregnancy, but Baby Bobby arrived healthy and handsome as could be! Take a look for yourself.

Suzanne and Michiel (who is from Holland!) met while working for Mercy Ships. During her time in Africa, Suzanne bought fabric that she used to make this beautiful quilt for Bobby. So not only is this blanket gorgeous, it is also incredibly meaningful. How cool is that??

Baby Lane – Newborn Baby Portrait Session

Full disclosure: I LOVE babies. Their teeny tiny features get me every time! Krista loves them too – especially when she gets to photograph the babies of our lovely brides! What’s more fun than that?!

That said, Little Miss Lane, or Buggy as Lori calls her, is truly an adorable little button of a girl. Her mama made sure she was ready for her first photo shoot–flower in her hair, tutu of tulle around her bitty belly!

Baby Soren’s First Family Portraits – Lansing MI

Elizabeth & Ryan’s was one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever shot (you’ll notice it’s still a Featured Post), and I was so excited for them when I heard they’d had a baby! Baby Soren came this past fall, and just before the holidays I traveled to Michigan to photograph him with his parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Four generations! It was such a special weekend for their family, and I am so glad I was able to document this moment in their lives!

This is what I really love about my job – having the opportunity to photograph people’s lives, and being a part of all sorts of special moments over the years – it’s such a blessing! And getting to play with adorable babies is definitely a bonus ;)

Getting sleepy again… it comes full circle

Elizabeth’s Grandfather was fairly ill when we visited (not that you could tell from looking at this handsome, cheerful man!). It was incredibly moving to be part of this family portrait session knowing that they might not have another chance to all be together again. Tears were definitely shed. But it was an absolute honor to be there for them. This is the one shot I wanted the entire day, and it’s the last one I took. I just love it.

[edit] I literally just found out that this lovely man passed away yesterday. I am SO thankful that we were able to do this portrait session when we did. What a blessing that he was able to meet his great-grandchild, and how awesome that their family has these photos. This is the most beautiful thing about my job.

Elizabeth & Ryan (and Barbara) – thank you again for allowing me to be there to photograph your wonderful family! It means so much to me to be trusted and appreciated so much by all of you! It’s truly a blessing :)

Baby Jude – Newborn Portraits

My dear friends Lindsey & David recently had their first child – two days before my birthday in fact! I was super sad that I was out of town when little Jude was born, but I stopped by the hospital as soon as I got back into town and celebrated my birthday by holding this little cutie and capturing some newborn portraits of him. Here are a few of my favorites…

Baby Tellen

I hope you people like cute babies! Because there’s no shortage of them over here these days! All my clients, and friends are having babies it seems. Love it! :)

I was hanging out with my friend’s baby, Tellen, the other day. And I could not resist photographing her gorgeous little face. I mean her little nose, and her chubby cheeks were seriously just TOO MUCH!!

She looks a little freaked out, but trust me, we’re totally buds!

Baby Delia – Newborn Portraits

Not long ago, I captured some maternity portraits for Eileen & Fabio as part of a Year-In-The-Life Session. Well, just a couple months later, baby Delia came into the world! I met up with them over the holidays to capture some of Delia’s first hours at home.

Newborns are so tiny and delicate and precious, and they grow up so fast! It’s great to be able to get there to document the first days of a brand new life!
