Bonnie + Steve — LaBelle Winery Wedding Details

Bonnie + Steve — LaBelle Winery Wedding

Bonnie & Steve’s wedding at the LaBelle Winery in New Hampshire, was SO fun! It was sunny all morning and began threatening rain before the ceremony – but wouldn’t you know it, the rain held off until we finished family portraits outside! And then it POURED! That certainly didn’t stop the party going on inside… these guys enjoyed their reception to the fullest!! Check out some of my favorites from their day…

First Look in a open field in the noonday sun? no problem!

Steve cracks me up! He’s officially my first groom with a Go Pro and a selfie stick! How cute are they together?!

Gotta love a fun bridal party!

Time for the ceremony, and everyone got emotional! I love that even with a First Look that moment coming down the aisle still made Bonnie cry! There’s just nothing quite like it.

Katie + Brian — Black Rock Country Club Wedding – xo, CoCo

Get ready for a whole lot of pretty, folks. Katie & Brian were married on one of the last days of Fall, when the light was buttery and warm and you could still get away without wearing a coat. It was one of those wonderfully beautiful days where the Bride and Groom’s tireless preparations paid off, everything went to plan, and they just got to have fun and enjoy their day. I mean, it really doesn’t get any better than that. Let’s start with Katie as she got ready with her girls.

Liz + Dylan — Reid Castle Wedding – xo, CoCo

Liz and Dylan were faves from the start. Their sense of humor, all-together cuteness, absolute adoration of each other, not to mention their hilarious families and especially Dylan’s dad’s mustache, made their wedding day one of the BEST days. Ever. No seriously. Go ahead, see for yourself.

I started with Liz as she got ready in the bridal suite at Reid Castle, on the campus of Manhattanville College. This place was so cool! So many beautiful and interesting indoor spaces, with gorgeous light inside and out!

Time for the ceremony! Liz and her dad were so sweet!

Krista snuck around the side to grab this, can you just feel how excited she is?!

I stayed on the ground during the festivities at the reception while Krista shot from above, so fun right?

Their brother and sister made use of basically everyone in the room for their toasts, it was so fun, emotional and personal.

Then this happened, complete with “I’ve Had the Time of my Liiiiiife!” perfectly cued up. So good.

After the festivities, we took another few moments to shoot in this gorgeous space! These two were so generous with their time, and of course SO FUN to photograph.

Krista set this up, just LOVE it.

At their request we got everyone in the room on the dance floor for a group picture from the balcony. Love these guys!

These two just had to get a dance in while everyone was still at their tables.

Then it was party time!

And as a send off they killed it up on stage.

Sarah + Mike — Lyman Estate Wedding Details – xo, CoCo

Take a look at Sarah and Mike’s beautifully intimate and personal details! So much of their personality shined through during their wedding day at the Lyman Estate, right down to the programs, how cute are those?! I loved every moment of their wedding, I hope you enjoy a few more of my favorite moments and details! Let’s start with the most important part, the shoes.

I can’t speak to how comfortable these were… pain is beauty, and aren’t they such a great color?!

Sarah’s beautiful one-shoulder dress is from The Bridal Garden in Manhattan, a not-for-profit bridal boutique that donates their proceeds to help educate disadvantaged children, now that’s a business model we can get behind!

The rooms at the Lyman have some fab wall paper and woodwork, I could shoot there every day! Allana, my second shooter for the day, grabbed this as mike got ready.

The greenhouse was in full bloom, this space was a dream to shoot in.

Sarah made her own jewelry and flowers, isn’t she crafty?!

And check out this adorable outdoor dance floor that the ladies at Chive set up, it was so fun to party under the stars on a warm Summer evening.

Baby Judah – Newborn Session

Yay! It’s time to meet Baby Judah! Krista had taken Suze’s maternity pictures just a couple of weeks before Judah was born and was very excited to return and meet this little guy when he was only a few days old!

How cute is he??

Such a sweet little family!

Poppin’ his collar. He’s already the coolest kid on the block! :)

So peaceful, yet so COOL with his little button down shirt and jeans!

If you don’t already know, I love me some baby toes! :)

Already sharing a laugh with his mama!

I mean, how can you not LOVE that little grin??

I absolutely love family history and the sharing of things between generations. So I LOVE that this is the same bassinet that Judah’s father and grandfather slept in as babies!

Su-per Ba-by!!!

Oh my… the hazards of photographing a NAKED newborn baby, especially baby BOYS! Great capture, Krista! :) I’m sure that Judah’s prom date will get a kick out of this one someday!

However, without risking a little mess a picture like this would never happen. So darn adorbs.

Judah doesn’t seem so impressed, but I am totally digging his striped hat!

Baby Judah – Maternity Shoot

Krista always loves to shoot her brides again, especially when they are also her very good friends! And double especially when her good friends/former wedding client’s are expecting a new baby! And I can’t think of a more perfect family to feature as we head into Mother’s Day weekend! You’ll probably remember Suze and Jeremy from their winter wedding one year ago. Well, they recently welcomed Baby Judah into the world. They asked Krista to stop by their home before Judah’s arrival to capture the glowing mama-to-be’s pregnant belly. And, of course, we’ll be sharing pictures of the little man himself in an upcoming post!

I am especially loving the beautiful canvas hanging behind them in this first picture! :)

Poor Kayak! She has no idea just how much life is going to be changing! Isn’t she a beautiful dog?

Are you noticing a consistency in Suze and Jeremy’s color palette?? I think they like the color orange (and, for the record, so do I!). :)

LOVE that Suze wore the shawl from her wedding for some shots of her beautiful belly!

Laurie + Hakan — The Taj Wedding Details

Ok everyone, here’s a small look at all of the STUNNING details at Laurie and Hakan’s Taj wedding. There’s a glimpse of the flowers above, MORE of those later. Let’s start out with Laurie’s amazing dress, it looked great on her AND it was beautifully detailed! Check out the back!

I love seeing those sparkles and ruffles peeping out.

Laurie had some gorgeous orchids in all the bouquets.

This was shot during the ceremony on Krista’s Widelux, on Kodak Tri-X 35mm film.

Ok now onto the reception. These flowers by Columbine Florist were absolutely stunning – rich hues of red, orange, dark purple, and green made these the PERFECT autumnal arrangements. And the crew from Boston Uplighting did an incredibly meticulous job lighting each and every centerpiece. Really amazing work.

The band, Legit, totally rocked!

Laurie + Hakan — The Taj Wedding

Laurie and Hakan were married at The Taj in Boston. It was chilly and the leaves were just barely changing color in the city. Their day was magical, the couple celebrated with their families from all over the world, and somehow they found THE one orange tree in the Public Gardens to shoot near :)

Let’s start out with Laurie, getting ready in her hotel suite.

The lovely Cristen Farrell was assisting Krista that day, and grabbed this, love the attention to detail. :)

Anne Ruthmann started with Hakan and his boys.

Drinking out of BEAKERS? Is that allowed? :) The Maid of Honor’s toast was AWESOME!! Perfect for these two chemists, she even related their love to covalent bonds and all sorts of things we barely understood, and ended with a champagne toast from beakers… perfect!
