Sarah + Rob — deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum Wedding Details – xo, CoCo

Sarah and Rob had the most beautiful backdrop for their Summer wedding, a gorgeous day at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, MA. Hands down, one of our favorite locations ever. Take a look at their beautiful details, and a few more favorite moments from their day.

The girls dark purple dresses were lovely, and I loved the guys tennis racket ties!

Sarah and her mom worked hard to try and bring the outdoors in with these beautiful tree centerpieces, birch candle holders, and succulent accents!

Who doesn’t love cookies for the ride home?!

Photographers gotta have fun too!!

Sarah’s cousin wrote them a song and performed it for their first dance, such a sweet personal touch.

A video projection played at the back of the reception space, which doubles as a gallery, Christine shot the cake against the background.

I grabbed the couple’s silhouette against the projection during their first dance.

It was a beautiful and warm Summer evening, perfect for hanging out on the patio!

Sarah + Rob — deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum Wedding – xo, CoCo

Oh, Sarah and Rob, it has been so fun looking through your pictures again, especially on this freezing cold January day! I don’t know if I have ever met two sweeter, funnier, more in love people. From the very start I knew their wedding would be 1) Beautiful, I mean LOOK at that background! 2) Heartfelt and full of their many loving family members, including Rob’s 10 siblings! And most importantly, 3) FUN, these two and their friends kept my second shooter Christine and I laughing, like serious belly laughs, ALL DAY. It really was just the best day, hopefully you can see it too!

I started out with Sarah in the library at the deCordova, as she finished getting ready, notice her smile, you’ll be seeing it A LOT.

Meanwhile my fabulous second shooter Christine Maus got Rob ready for his first look of Sarah up on the rooftop, I loved all the sculptures up there.

Then a walk through the garden for some portraits with a really cool installation in the background. Here’s my view:

These guys, seriously killing me, they were so funny!

This walk down to the ceremony was so beautiful.

We snuck away for another minute for some portraits with this Dan Graham piece that I love.

Meanwhile Sarah’s grandma, on right, was having fun with selfies. :)

Rob’s twin brother gave the sweetest speech, he had the whole room in tears!

And now it’s time to party!

Meagan + Evan — Omni Providence Wedding Details – xo, CoCo

Are you ready for all this sparkly colorful amazingness?? I know I am! Meagan and Evan incorporated not only some of the most colorful and fabulous details into their big day, but also some of the most personal and sweetest touches I have seen. They created the most wonderful warm and welcoming vibe, even as their photographer I felt so welcome and taken care of that day. Love these guys! Alright enough about me, enjoy!

Aren’t we all suckers for a good pair of sparkly shoes?!

Evan gave Meagan such a beautiful and thoughtful gift, a personalized locket, earrings and box, I think Meagan was stunned.

We rode the trolley to Roger Williams Park for portraits.

The tables were named after all the places the couple have travelled to together, such adventurers they are!

The tables were beautiful, and complete with a little treat for everyone.

And of course a candy bar to top it all off! The sour stuff is my fave. :)

K+L — Fabulous State Room Wedding Details

Oh man oh man have I been looking forward to this post!! Our fabulous couple was married at the State Room in downtown Boston. We had a gorgeous Fall day in Boston with these two and their lovely families, and wanted to share the absolutely stunning details with you. Just a warning, you are going to be BLINDED by diamonds in a couple seconds…

Um. YEA.

Krista had a lot of fun with these gorgeous Manolo’s!

The wonderful Lara Woolfson helped us out that day as well, she started with the boys at the Ames Hotel. We LOVE that place!

We had some gorgeous light in the Public Gardens in the afternoon!

The dresses were all matching silhouettes, with some beautifully simple white flowers.

Can’t get enough of those earrings!

I mean this place was dripping in flowers!

OK, now onto the tables, which all varied in size, shape, and decoration. It was the most interesting and beautiful room!

Laurie + Hakan — The Taj Wedding

Laurie and Hakan were married at The Taj in Boston. It was chilly and the leaves were just barely changing color in the city. Their day was magical, the couple celebrated with their families from all over the world, and somehow they found THE one orange tree in the Public Gardens to shoot near :)

Let’s start out with Laurie, getting ready in her hotel suite.

The lovely Cristen Farrell was assisting Krista that day, and grabbed this, love the attention to detail. :)

Drinking out of BEAKERS? Is that allowed? :) The Maid of Honor’s toast was AWESOME!! Perfect for these two chemists, she even related their love to covalent bonds and all sorts of things we barely understood, and ended with a champagne toast from beakers… perfect!

Leli + Tom — Downtown Boston Engagement

Krista met up with Leli & Tom for their Engagement Session down at the Boston Public Gardens, where they got engaged, awwwwwwww. They are the sweetest couple, very caring and loving with each other, and they couldn’t have picked a better day to romp around the city with Krista!

They started out on Commonwealth ave just outside the gardens… Isn’t Leli’s purple dress the cutest?

SO SWEET.

Make ’em snuggle and they’ll start to giggle, works every time! Love this series!

Then they headed over the footbridge to the river.

SUCH a gorgeous day! I can’t wait to have these evenings again!

Then a quick jaunt over to J.P.Licks for a handsome reward!

Lillie + Colin — Harvard Faculty Club Wedding Details

The Harvard Faculty Club was such a wonderful venue to work in for Lillie and Colin’s wedding. The building has so much character, the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff was fantastic. Done and done, oh and not to mention their amazing staircase! Ok let’s get on with these gorgeous details!

I found this tapestry cool tapestry and couldn’t resist a little earring photo shoot :)

Jessica Peacock’s makeup was FLAWLESS.

Priscilla Collins did such an amazing job on everyone’s hair, she doesn’t mess around!

I love the table set up! I feel like we never see long tables like this.

This cake was so beautiful and classic! And for complete nerds, the basket weave was AMAZING. (Wow, sad I just admitted that).

Lillie + Colin — Harvard Faculty Club Wedding

Lillie and Colin were married at the Harvard Faculty Club in Harvard Square, which is such a beautiful old building with so much character. The weather was fine, the celebration was joyous, the bride was perfectly nervous (and gorgeous), what more could you ask for?!

Krista and I started with the bride in a beautiful room upstairs at the Faculty Club, the wallpaper is amazing in there!

This is mine of one of Lillie’s beautiful bridesmaids.

Dream team member Allana Taranto started out with Colin and his guys down the hall. :)

Lillie was featured on the TLC’s I Found the Gown for her stunning dress.

Oh, moms! You are so cute!!

Colin waited at the bottom of these gorgeous stairs to see his bride!

The grounds of the Faculty Club are magical, something beautiful around every corner and at every angle!

There were about a dozen toasts at the reception. Seriously. But honestly, it was kind of amazing. The Bride and Groom introduced each speaker, and it was so touching to hear the different things everyone had to say about the happy couple.
