Melissa, Shaun and I got together on a balmy and beautiful Summer evening at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA. It was warm and quiet and we had the place to ourselves, well aside from the mosquitoes… But these guys took in in stride, cuddled like there was no tomorrow, and would you just LOOK at how cute they are?!
The G Family
Krista spent some time with this lovely family while all of the “kids” were in town over the summer. Patty and Dan are one of the nicest couples you’ll ever meet, and they’ve raised some pretty amazing children!
These two sisters could not stop laughing! Such a sweet relationship!
After their family session, Krista was able to spend some time with Melissa creating senior portraits. And once again, there was so much laughter!
Thank you, Gernert family! Krista so enjoyed her afternoon with you!
Spring (2015) Mini Sessions
I know that I’m slightly biased given that most of these families are friends of mine, but Spring mini-sessions were especially wonderful this year! :) It was a perfect May day and so much fun!
Hard to believe that this little guy wanted NOTHING to do with pictures!
This adorable crew is a bunch of Krista Photography regulars! They are the most cooperative and sweet group of little ones!
So many expressions!
Oh Christopher! Always a favorite! None of us can get enough of that toothy grin, but put him in a seersucker vest and pants and we melt!
His cousin is pretty fabulous, too! Loved watching Bobby with his four-legged “brother.” :)
Love!
Our very own Jen and her sweet family!
Silly Emma!
My boy refused to participate unless we brought his best friend along, and so Curious George came with us. :)
There is ALWAYS a series like this of my children! :)
This brand new family was such a joy. Baby Ruth is precious!
Twirling in the sun!
We had so much fun with everyone! Thank you all for sharing your family’s with us!
Wellesley Family Portrait Session
Krista was so happy to hear from Jesse and Julie! She photographed Jesse’s sister Meredith’s wedding several years ago and his other sister, Adrienne, and her family (remember Joel and Seth?!) this spring. What a fun pair of boys Krista spent the day with!!
In constant motion, but those GRINS!!
Love it!
Such brotherly love!
Awwww.
Thank you, Jesse and Julie! Your family is so much fun!
Baby Eden – Newborn Portrait Session at Home
Krista has been photographing the Hamel family for the last three years. From engagement, to marriage, to having their first son, to now adding baby Eden to the mix! Look closely and you may even see some Krista Photography gracing the wall in the background… :)
Awww!
The looks shared between a mama and her brand new baby are the MOST precious.
I spy with my little eye…. a Krista Photography canvas. :) (Print your pictures!!!)
Suze and Jeremy, your growing family is adorable!
Mini Sessions 2014
There is no better season than fall in New England! Perfect for a day of mini-sessions. Special thanks to Russell Farms for (once again!) loaning us some bales of hay and pumpkins for the day!
We adore our brides and grooms, even long after their wedding!
And this little guy. Well, Christopher is basically one of the Krista Photography team. We’d steal him in a heartbeat if his parents would let us! (They won’t. We’ve asked. More than once.) ;)
Classic, real life moment!
Another former wedding couple, with their darling little lady.
And when wedding couples announce that their family is growing, we cheer!
Buckeye! Don’t eat your brother! ;)
Krista’s niece and nephews are such goofballs! Which is just one of the many reasons why we love them!
They are pretty darn cute, too. :)
It’s obviously genetic!
We had perfect weather and some seriously fun families! Thank you to all who came out!
Baby Donnie – Backyard family portrait session
Krista met Jessica several years ago when she was a bridesmaid in Elena and Dan’s wedding and was thrilled to hear from her wanting to do family portraits at the family’s home. Backyard firepit, a walk in the woods, an adorable pup AND baby boy with two perfectly placed bottom teeth – it made for a fabulous morning!
Thank you for asking Krista to spend the morning with your adorable family!
Ashley + Andrew — Paul Revere Park Engagement – xo, CoCo
I mean would you just LOOK at that face?! I’ll admit, this laugh was induced by the embarrassment of public kissing, but hey, gotta do what you gotta do! Ashley and Andrew were such fabulous company on this surprisingly warm Fall evening in Boston. They took me on a tour of their gorgeous Charlestown streets, showed me all their favorite little spots, and we even made our way over to the brand new Paul Revere Park under the Zakim Bridge. This night was, I daresay, TOO fun.
LOVE this!
I mean, how cool is this spot?!
Cuties… and gorgeous light to boot!
We strolled back over near their apartment and found this gorgeous ivy.
We had to get something in front of their adorable building!
They have a pretty sweet roof-deck too, with a killer view of the Bunker Hill monument, what a great spot!
That LIGHT! KILLING me.
Ash and Andrew thank you so much for taking me on such a fun adventure in your beautiful neighborhood! Check out more on Facebook y’all!
Liz + Dylan — Reid Castle Wedding – xo, CoCo
Liz and Dylan were faves from the start. Their sense of humor, all-together cuteness, absolute adoration of each other, not to mention their hilarious families and especially Dylan’s dad’s mustache, made their wedding day one of the BEST days. Ever. No seriously. Go ahead, see for yourself.
I started with Liz as she got ready in the bridal suite at Reid Castle, on the campus of Manhattanville College. This place was so cool! So many beautiful and interesting indoor spaces, with gorgeous light inside and out!
Krista was my second shooter for the day, (Dream team!), she started with Dylan and this cute guy next door.
Oh hello there Mr. Dapper!
The lawn had our FAVORITE Weeping Beech trees, good spot for a First Look don’t you think? Love this from Krista.
Can’t even handle these two!
Krista brought along a couple film cameras to play with, she shot this with her Nikon f100 camera, on Kodak Tri-x 400 35mm film.
Also from Krista, isn’t that lace to die for?!
Light, giggles, snuggles, everything.
From Krista, I mean they didn’t stop laughing!
Krista shot this with a Holga toy camera on Kodak Tri-x 400 120mm film.
Krista grabbed this as well.
I mean we had to show the castle right?!
Time for the ceremony! Liz and her dad were so sweet!
Krista snuck around the side to grab this, can you just feel how excited she is?!
Krista also ran upstairs to grab this, so pretty!
I stayed on the ground during the festivities at the reception while Krista shot from above, so fun right?
Their brother and sister made use of basically everyone in the room for their toasts, it was so fun, emotional and personal.
Then this happened, complete with “I’ve Had the Time of my Liiiiiife!” perfectly cued up. So good.
After the festivities, we took another few moments to shoot in this gorgeous space! These two were so generous with their time, and of course SO FUN to photograph.
Krista set this up, just LOVE it.
One more from Krista, how romantic are those candles??
Haha! Phone for you!
At their request we got everyone in the room on the dance floor for a group picture from the balcony. Love these guys!
These two just had to get a dance in while everyone was still at their tables.
Then it was party time!
And as a send off they killed it up on stage.
I can’t even say enough about these two! Thank you Liz & Dylan for trusting us with your memories, for cracking us up all day, for loving your day and everything it brought. We love you guys! Check out more on Facebook y’all and just WAIT for their details post full of autumnal color and that charming diy touch.
Sarah + Rob — deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum Wedding Details – xo, CoCo
Sarah and Rob had the most beautiful backdrop for their Summer wedding, a gorgeous day at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, MA. Hands down, one of our favorite locations ever. Take a look at their beautiful details, and a few more favorite moments from their day.
The girls dark purple dresses were lovely, and I loved the guys tennis racket ties!
NO climbing.
Such a beautiful setting for a wedding!
Me and Christine Maus, workin it!
Sarah and her mom worked hard to try and bring the outdoors in with these beautiful tree centerpieces, birch candle holders, and succulent accents!
Who doesn’t love cookies for the ride home?!
Photographers gotta have fun too!!
Sarah’s cousin wrote them a song and performed it for their first dance, such a sweet personal touch.
A video projection played at the back of the reception space, which doubles as a gallery, Christine shot the cake against the background.
I grabbed the couple’s silhouette against the projection during their first dance.
It was a beautiful and warm Summer evening, perfect for hanging out on the patio!
Thank you for taking a look and thank you Sarah and Rob for such a fabulous day! Also a special shout out to Jevon Mansfield and her team at the deCordova for making everyone’s day SO fabulous! Check out more on Facebook, go ahead, I dare ya.
